Wow... what a week!!
I had the highly advertised Maverick Mortgage Open House last Thursday. Basically, free food and booze. LOL
I had the pleasure of seeing Baby Harris' Mommy again. Donna Harris is always fun to be around. She has a wonderful outgoing personality. But I had to resist patting her on the tummy. She looked so cute. And, yes, she is indeed ALL BABY.
Lorrie Semler was there. I had a nice visit with her and look forward to many more meetings. She is very down-to-earth as well as a very warm person. We were both dissapointed that she missed both Donna and Karen. <= Speaking of which, I really enjoyed my visit with Karen Otto (see attached pic). I think we will be able to work really well together in bringing more 'get together' events to North Texas. And hopefully meeting more ActiveRainers!!!

Congratulations on the Open House! Sounds like a dynamic group so I'm sure it's a great road ahead :)
I don't know about "all" baby, but I really think I'm having a 5 year old!! 36 week appt is tomorrow morning!!
It was a blast. Sorry I couldn't stay too long, but those pastries were to die for!!
It was fun Tom and I look forward to getting more Active Rainer's networking events together locally. Your new office location is great. I'm sorry I missed meeting Lorrie in person and seeing momma Donna.
Thanks for sharing your open house with us! When's that next AMP gathering?
Ricardo: Thanks
Donna: The food was indeed awesome. The local shops were great in how they all wanted to pitch in.
Lorrie: Well, how cool is that?!?!? Karen & I will be trying to coordinate different things going forward. Some fun stuff and maybe some roundtable type deals.
Karen: Will be in touch on the AMP stuff. I have schedule conflicts that I need to resolve.
Tom - what a great idea and open house with food , of course, always drays them in. I like your bold graphic - but then I like all things "horse".
Looks like my little buddy Karen was having a fun time - I hope she didn't start rearranging the office.
Yvonne: Yes, I am a lucky guy. Look who I had on my arm there. LOL. Yes, she seems like a go-getter.... thats why I want to work with her.
Kathleen: Haha... nope, she didn't rearrange anything. And the food was a big hit!!!
What a great open house! I would have loved to have been right in the middle of all of that fun.
Thanks for sharing the picture of you with Karen Otto. That is a great picture! (Did Karen stage it?)
Congratulations on your successful open house Tom!!
Thanks,Leslie
Now Tom, look at all the lovely ladies who have commented on your blog today....
You'll have to have a national open house and with all the loans you're going to be writing soon you'll be able to afford to fly them in on your private jet....
Yes, I am a "go get" HER... a snack, a miller light...or two...
Leslie: Thank you. No, she didn't stage it. It is a new office and we have all new stuff. We have a couple of girls in the office that did a great job setting up. And vendors contributed as well.... their food was almost too pretty to eat.
Karen: I have a few left over beers in the fridge. Next time we sit down, I think my place will work. HA
Hi Michelle:
Thanks for the kind words. I think we get along well, so I look forward to driving some biz with our ideas.
