Personal Development for Realtors. Leveraging Technology.
I recently read a short blog by Marchel Peterson. Really, it was a question. Photoshop - looking for suggestions on how to learn the program!
My answer: http://fixphotos.classes.cnet.com/
CNET.com has been offering free online course for a wide range of subjects. Like how to edit digital photos.
Some other current course offerings:
Better Presentations with PowerPoint 2003
How to create a utube video for under $25
Manage and save your Outlook email (DallasLoanGuy recommended)
See a complete list here => http://classes.cnet.com/?tag=navtab
I think the current offerings change from time to time. Maybe it would be a good newsletter to subscribe to to stay on top of technology.
I am a firm believer in Sharpening Your Saw as is Stephen Covey in his book 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. (Sharpening the saw is habit #7)
Nothing can be better than free training.... Imagine how much more you can accomplish when you leverage technology.

You are welcome ladies....
Maybe you guys can find a class in there that is helpful!!
Hi Tom, thanks for the recommendation. I joined CNET and I also ordered the book Cheryl recommended. Now I guess I just need to take the time to start learning. So much to learn!!
My daugher is a graphic artist and really knows photoshop but she is not in to teaching me. What's funny is now that she lives in NYC she has decided to learn how to sew (I've been sewing since I was 8) and I am trying to learn photoshop. My husband said why don't you sew for her and have her do photoshop for you but the thing is we both want to learn the skill.
LOL.... Kiddo is coming around, huh?
Don't tell anyone, but I do the hand sewing in my home. Wife can do a couple of things on sewing machine. But she always asks me to do the hand sewing.
*sigh*
Tom.... thanks for sharing some of these ideas. In regards to the you tube thing, I am sure Nick M. has a blog how to make a video.... lol I know Jonathan Vetter did something like this, or at least was talking about it. I will check out the power point and the outlook links. Thanks again...
