Tom, There are direct and indirect benefits from Active Rain. I have found that the indirect ones have given me a tremendous edge over my fellow Realtors. I love Active Rain and all the tools & exposure it has provided me, not to mention all the contacts & friends I've made.

How was the turnout Tom? I know you mentioned this idea during the AR Mixer. Its a great idea to share your knowledge with RE Pros. We have been hosting some Home Buyer seminars with local companies. Yesterday we met with the Admin staff at John Paul II High School and Next week meet with Hydrotex Corporation. These have worked out well also.
We had 25+ there.
Standing room only.They were VERY eager to learn. Many commented that they cannot wait for my 2nd level course. Even got a request to book another class before I got home. LOL
Picked up one solid referral partner on the spot.
This will be a winner for me.
I gave one of those FTHB deals for my Financial Investor. I didn't get anything but a couple of people wanted to be in my database..... So they will hear from me again. It is a solid lead source.... And good(not difficult) clients too....
